This website was launched to bolster and advocate for Pole Vault in Seward, Nebraska, and statewide.

Seward, often referred to as the “4th of July city,” annually hosts a large-scale celebration. Since 1990, part of this festivity has included a pole vault competition. This event evolved into a street vault in 1998 and has since persisted as one of the nation’s longest-running street pole vault competitions.

Moreover, Seward serves as the base for the Concordia University Bulldogs and the Seward High School Bluejays. Both institutions boast robust pole vault legacies, featuring numerous national and state champions.
